Roles & Responsibilities
- Prep and handle raw ingredients, including seafood, meats, and vegetables, under the guidance of the Chef.
- Execute daily pre-opening tasks such as chopping, portioning, and preparing signature sauces.
- Maintain high efficiency in food preparation and station support during peak dining hours.
- Perform essential culinary tasks, including deep-frying, basic cooking, and food assembly.
- Keep all workstations, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment clean and compliant with food safety rules.
- Follow strict food hygiene standards when handling, labelling, and storing ingredients.
- Assist in receiving, verifying, and systematically organizing incoming kitchen supplies.
- Work closely with supervisors and stall crew to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Process cash and digital payments accurately via the POS system to ensure fast checkout for walk-in customers.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Western and Chinese cuisine (relevant western kitchen or zi char experience is highly advantageous).
- Must possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 (Food Hygiene) certificate.
- Fully committed to working weekends and Public Holidays (PH), with the flexibility to handle shift work as needed.
- Ability to thrive and maintain efficiency in a high-pressure, fast-paced food stall environment.
- A proactive learner with a positive attitude who communicates clearly and works effectively within a tight-knit team.
