Position Summary
A Hotel Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hotel corridors, and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction according to hotel standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels.
- Clean bathrooms, toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, drinking water, coffee, and tissue paper.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Report damaged items, maintenance issues, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Ensure housekeeping trolley and cleaning equipment are properly maintained.
- Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and hotel SOP procedures.
- Attend to guest requests politely and professionally.
- Complete daily assigned rooms within the required timeframe.
- Maintain punctuality, grooming, and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Basic communication skills in English are an advantage.
- For housekeeping supervisor, experienced candidates in 4 star hotel would be preferred.
Working Hours
- Based on hotel operational schedule and roster.
Reporting To
- Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
