Responsibilities
- Sort and process soiled linens and towels for washing according to established procedures.
- Feed clean linens and towels into laundry equipment, including flatwork ironers and towel folders.
- Count, pack, and prepare clean linens and towels for delivery and distribution.
- Perform quality checks to ensure linens and towels meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Follow workplace safety and health guidelines while carrying out assigned duties.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily laundry operations.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Laundry Supervisor or Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in a hot and humid laundry production environment.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Able to follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Physically fit to handle laundry items and perform manual handling tasks as required.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.
- Willing to learn and adapt to operational requirements.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 2pm to 8pm, $10.50 per hour
Saturdays and Sundays: 9am to 6pm, $11.50 per hour
Part-timers must be able to commit a minimum of 3 workdays and 1 weekend.
