Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Compliance
- Appointed Officer: Serve as the registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) ensuring strict legal compliance with MOM, SCDF, and NEA regulations.
- EHS Management: Implement, maintain, and continuously improve integrated management systems according to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Risk Management & Incident Response
- Audits & Inspections: Conduct routine risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to enforce effective control measures.
- Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents and manage subsequent corrective/preventive actions.
- Emergency Readiness: Develop and execute emergency response plans (ERP), fire risk assessments, and regular fire drills.
Governance & Culture
- WSH Committee: Lead monthly WSH Committee meetings, manage documentation, and track action items to closure.
- Stakeholder Management: Escalate critical safety risks to management promptly and drive a proactive safety culture across all lines of business.
Requirement
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related), Health and Safety, Ergonomics, or equivalent.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Singapore &
- Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)
- A minimum of three years of relevant EHS/WSH experience is required, with preference given to candidates with backgrounds in aviation MRO, aerospace, or other high-risk industries.
- Understanding of Singapore WSH regulations and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 management systems.
