Job Description:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision engineering components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Create, modify and optimize CNC programmer for machining operations.
  • Perform tool selection, tool setting and machine adjustments.
  • Carry out in-process inspection and ensure machined parts meet the required specifications.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow production schedules, quality requirements and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in CNC machining and programming.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of CNC milling machines and machining processes.
  • Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam will be an advantage.
  • Able to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work overtime when required.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
