Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting Products: Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing checks on materials and finished goods using tools like calipers, micrometers, or optical measuring systems.
  • Monitoring Operations: Watch manufacturing processes to spot abnormalities, equipment drift, or out-of-specification items early.
  • Documenting Data: Record inspection results, test data, volumes, rejections, and scrap counts accurately in logs or digital systems.
  • Reporting Issues: Flag non-conforming parts, issue stop-work or stop-shipment notices when quality fails, and notify supervisors.
  • Maintaining Standards: Keep work areas clean according to 5S guidelines and follow health, safety, and ISO quality regulations. 

Requirement:

  • Minimum secondary education, GCE 'O' Levels, or technical/ITE certifications.
  • Able to read and write English due to documentation. 
  • Skills: Ability to read simple technical/engineering drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of software like Microsoft Excel to compile inspection reports. 
  • Fitness: Able to carry load up to 20kg
