Housekeeping Assistant [IMMEDIATE VACANCY]
Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Stanley Street, Singapore (CBD)
Salary: $1,700 – $2,000
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and prepare guest rooms, dormitories, shared bathrooms, lounge, pantry, kitchen and reception areas
• Change bed linens and replenish guest amenities
• Sanitise bathrooms and shower areas
• Support laundry – washing, drying and folding linens
• Conduct room inspections before guest arrivals
• Monitor housekeeping supplies
• Report maintenance and safety issues
• Manage waste disposal and recycling
• Assist with guest housekeeping requests
• Maintain high-touch and communal areas
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures
Working Schedule:
• 5 days work week, 2 days off
• Off days assigned by Hostel Manager
• Rotating shifts:
• 9am – 6pm
• 11am – 8pm
• Must be comfortable working weekends and Public Holidays
Candidate Requirements
• No experience required – training provided
• Housekeeping/hotel cleaning experience is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable performing cleaning duties
• Positive attitude and team player
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Basic English communication
• Able to work weekends and Public Holidays
