Description
Lulu’s Lounge is looking for a confident, highly motivated Host/Hostess and Reservations Coordinator to manage our reservations hotline and create an exceptional first impression for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Lulu’s reservations hotline and respond promptly and professionally to calls and messages.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, special requests and guest inquiries.
- Become an expert user of OpenTable or SevenRooms.
- Maintain accurate reservation and guest information.
- Make quick, sound decisions regarding availability, table allocation and guest requests.
- Welcome guests warmly and manage the arrival and seating experience.
- Clearly explain Lulu’s dining, lounge and nightclub offerings.
- Coordinate closely with management, service staff, security and the door team.
- Anticipate and resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally.
- Help maximize table occupancy while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
- Remain composed and organized during busy, high-pressure periods.
- Highly self-motivated, responsible and comfortable working independently.
- Warm, polished and naturally engaging with guests.
- An excellent communicator, both over the phone and in person.
- Quick-thinking and confident when making decisions.
- Calm under pressure and able to manage several priorities at once.
- Organized, detail-oriented and responsive.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced nightlife environment.
- Familiar with restaurant, lounge and nightclub operations—or eager and able to learn quickly.
- Experienced with OpenTable, SevenRooms or another reservation platform; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Flexible and available to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, guest relations, restaurants, lounges, hotels or nightlife is preferred.
Salary Range depending on experience
