Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM & Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Application Processing Officer to support the end-to-end processing of assistance scheme applications. The role involves application fulfilment, data entry, document verification, handling public enquiries and ensuring applications are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Process assistance scheme applications and supporting documents.
Perform data entry and update application information in relevant systems.
Verify application details and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
Follow up with applicants by phone or email to obtain missing information or clarification.
Handle calls and enquiries from members of the public professionally and empathetically.
Generate, process and mail outcome letters where required.
Maintain accurate records and filing of application documents.
Track applications from receipt through completion.
Follow established SOPs and maintain required processing standards.
Requirements
Minimum GCE 'O' Level or recognised equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant Assistance Scheme Application Processing experience.
Experience specifically involving government assistance, social welfare or similar benefit programmes.
Good public-facing communication and enquiry-handling skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
