About The Keystone
The Keystone by Homestead runs student accommodation and serviced apartments across five properties in Singapore: Clarke Quay, HarbourFront, Holland Village, Lavender and Farrer Park. Our buildings include condominiums, black-and-white houses and shophouses, and our residents include university students and serviced apartment guests.
The role
You will keep our residents' homes clean, fresh and ready. You look after the rooms, apartments and shared spaces in your building: regular cleans for the people who live with us, a full clean after every stay, and the laundry that keeps fresh linen on every bed. You work to a clear checklist, and you are the person who spots a dripping tap or a broken light before a resident has to tell us.
What you will do
Rooms and apartments
Clean serviced apartments twice a week, with a change of bed linen and towels once a week.
Clean student rooms once a week, with a change of bed linen every two weeks.
Give every room a full clean after each check-out or move-out, so it is ready for the next person. Some rooms check out at 11am and check in the same afternoon, so those cleans must be finished by about 3pm.
Make beds, dust, vacuum and mop, clean bathrooms and kitchenettes, empty bins, and restock toiletries and supplies.
Check that each room is ready before the next arrival: clean, fully stocked, and with nothing left behind.
Follow our checklist for each type of clean, and record each finished room as instructed.
Laundry and linen
Collect used bed linen and towels, then wash, dry, fold and store them in our on-site laundry.
Deliver fresh linen and towels to rooms and linen stores.
Count linen and supplies each week, and flag shortages early.
Common areas
Keep lobbies, corridors, lift lobbies, stairways, pantries and shared bathrooms clean and tidy.
Empty bins, keep bin areas clean, and restock pantries and shared toilets.
