General Cleaner x 2 (West)
The Part-Time Cleaner is responsible for routine cleaning and housekeeping activities to maintain designated office, yard and common areas in a clean, hygienic and orderly condition. The role includes indoor and outdoor cleaning, waste removal and basic gardening activities.
Job Description
- Cleaning & Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Sweep and maintain designated areas, including carparks, the backyard walkway (2nd area), and the front open area in front of the warehouse.
- Clean workers toilets and maintain them in a hygienic condition.
- Clean the mess hall, including wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the refrigerator.
- Remove cobwebs from accessible areas using suitable cleaning tools.
- Carry out basic gardening and maintain the surrounding outdoor areas.
- Clean the Security Office, including internal areas and windows.
- Clean and maintain the designated smoking area, including sweeping, removing cigarette butts and disposing of waste into the designated bins.
- Collect and dispose of general waste in the designated bins.
- Maintain cleaning tools and materials properly and leave all work areas clean and tidy after completion.
- Follow site safety requirements and report any unsafe condition, damage or cleaning issue to the supervisor.
- Excluded activities
- Water jetting of the carpark, including blocking off three carpark lots.
- Water jetting of drainage areas
Qualifications and Experience
- Basic cleaning and housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Able to carry out routine indoor and outdoor cleaning activities safely.
- Able to use common cleaning tools and equipment correctly.
- Able to follow work instructions and workplace safety requirements.
- Physically able to perform sweeping, mopping, cleaning and basic gardening activities
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Working time: 12 pm to 5 pm
