We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to oversee production planning and workflow, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, materials and equipment while meeting production targets and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate production workflows across multiple product lines.
Develop and prioritize production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
Plan manpower, equipment and raw material requirements based on production demand.
Allocate manpower and resources to meet production requirements and schedules.
Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the required timelines.
Identify and resolve production issues with minimal disruption to operations.
Monitor production output, quality results and key performance indicators.
Prepare and submit production status and performance reports.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Work closely with Quality, Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

Diploma or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant production planning experience.
Proven experience in production planning and resource planning.
Leadership and people management experience.
Good knowledge of costing, internal audit and operational excellence practices.
Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Comfortable working with numbers, statistics and production data.
Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage competing priorities.
