Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
- Prepare food timely according to SOPs
- Work across kitchen stations, including cutting sashimi, gunkan, side dishes, kaburi and grilled items
- Follow food handling and hygiene standards
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Undertake ad hoc duties assigned
Cutting Crew
- Fish processing, including weighing, de-icing and filleting
- Perform basic knife work (e.g. slicing fish)
- Able to carry cartons about 10kg each (Platform trolley provided)
- Comfortable working in a cold room environment (jacket provided)
- Keep the cutting area clean, and sanitise equipment, tools and work areas in line with food safety regulations
Requirements
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Basic command of English
- Experience in raw food processing or kitchen operations is an added advantage
