Laboratory Assistant (Contract)
Location: Joo Koon
Salary: Up to S$2,500/month
Contract: Immediate – December 2026 (Extendable)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine monitoring of laboratory utilities and cleanroom conditions.
- Support the calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Transport laboratory samples safely between buildings.
- Assist with general laboratory operations and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Chemistry-related educational background (e.g. Nitec, Diploma, Degree) or prior laboratory experience.
- Able to communicate in basic English.
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
- Responsible, meticulous, and able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Physically able to transport samples between nearby buildings.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
Ideal Candidate
- Candidates with a Chemistry background are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with laboratory, quality control (QC), or research laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
