* Wash, clean and sanitise all plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils, trays and kitchen equipment after use.
* Operate the dishwasher safely and correctly according to instructions.
* Pre-rinse and remove food waste from dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.
* Ensure all washed items are properly dried and stored in their designated areas.
* Keep the dishwashing area, sinks, countertops and surrounding floor clean and hygienic at all times.
* Empty rubbish bins and dispose of food waste properly.
* Clean and maintain the dishwasher, sinks and other washing equipment regularly.
* Ensure adequate supply of dishwashing detergent, cleaning materials and other kitchen supplies.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
* Report any damaged equipment, broken utensils, shortage of supplies or hygiene concerns to the supervisor immediately.
* Assist with general kitchen cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
* Support the kitchen team during busy meal periods and ensure dishes are cleaned promptly.
* Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
