Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare medications according to prescriptions, medication orders, and established pharmacy procedures.
- Generate, print, and apply medication labels accurately using the pharmacy management system.
- Verify patient particulars and other relevant information to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation, processing, and dispensing of medications under appropriate supervision.
- Support the receiving, checking, storage, and distribution of medications and pharmacy supplies.
Requirements
- Diploma in Science or Engineering.
- No prior pharmacy experience required; training will be provided.
- Good attention to detail
