Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain / Commercial Manager to lead procurement, inventory and logistics activities within our building materials supply chain. You will optimise material flow, supplier performance and operational efficiency while driving end-to-end supply chain management. This role offers strong scope for leadership and continuous improvement.
Job Description
- Oversee procurement, inventory and logistics activities, ensuring material availability and coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance and costs, and manage logistics partners and service providers
- Develop supply chain strategies and processes, and analyse performance to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across the supply chain
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant supply chain experience; management experience preferred, and construction or building materials experience is an advantage
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills, with a good understanding of inventory and logistics
- Strong analytical and leadership abilities, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
