Job Description
- Train, manage and guide QC team to ensure smooth operations and timely progress.
- Perform checks for incoming raw material, in-process and final outgoing manufactured parts using technical drawings and appropriate measuring tools.
- Request tools for routine calibration and periodic maintenance to ensure compliance. Keep proper records of all tools and equipment.
- Identify defects, log errors and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when standards are missed.
- Work closely with the production team to identify errors and propose corrective actions and preventive actions, where necessary.
- Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS) – ISO 9001, and support internal and external audits.
Job Requirement
- Diploma certification.
- Internal auditor certification – ISO 9001 : 2026 & 14001 : 2026
- Relevant work experience in manufacturing sector for at least 3 years.
- Great understanding of manufacturing quality standards, best practices for quality assurance and product safety regulations.
- Knowledgeable in interpreting technical drawings and operating measuring tools.
- Meticulous observations skill – identify defects in raw materials and manufactured parts.
- Communication skills – create concise reports and provide feedback and instructions to the team.
- Technical skills – inspection, technical drawings, documentation management, word processing, Microsoft Office software.
