The Driver and Warehouse Assistant managing daily logistics by ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods, while managing inventory control, maintaining organized storage systems, and ensuring accurate documentation of stock movements.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Inventory Management:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage inventory levels- receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and handling of goods to maintain quality and accessibility
- Monitor stock movement and investigate discrepancies, shortages, or damages
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory records (manual or system-based)
- Perform stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate and prepare goods for timely dispatch.
Logistics & Driving Oversight:
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods and transportation of goods when required
- Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency
- Handle loading and unloading processes to prevent damage or loss
- Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and serviced regularly
- Compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies
- Oversee delivery documentation and ensure proper record-keeping
Safety & Compliance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
- Adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Possess valid Driving Licence (Class 3/3A or relevant class) with a clean driving record.
- Possess valid Forklift Licence
- Proven experience in driving and basic warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and stock control procedures
- Good physical fitness to perform loading and unloading of goods
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety practices
- Able to use simple inventory systems or maintain manual records accurately
- Strong responsibility, time management, and reliability
- Independent and manage multiple tasks efficiently
