Job Summary
The Assistant Manager oversees the full operations of Water Hazard, including staff scheduling, inventory control, bar and karaoke services. The role also drives revenue through promotions and sales packages, and supports the Banquet team with package development. It suits a collaborative, commercially minded professional who values meritocracy and teamwork.
Job Description
- Manage daily Water Hazard operations: plan staff rosters, control inventory (liquor, supplies, consumables), oversee bar service and karaoke systems, and uphold Club safety standards and policies.
- Conceptualise and execute promotions and sales packages, including event and festive offerings, and assist the Banquet team and Banquet & Sports Manager with pricing, packages and revenue initiatives.
- Support Club social events and activations, identifying new partnerships and corporate business opportunities to grow banquet, event and F&B revenue.
- Coordinate with Finance, Marcom and Operations, and prepare reports on operations, inventory and sales for management review.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Sales & Marketing, Sports Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in banqueting sales and events, sports and wellness, or a similar field, including event planning and execution.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and design software for reports and promotional materials. Working knowledge of budgeting, accounting and cost control.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, motivate and supervise a multicultural team. Availability to work weekends and public holidays, as required by the role.
