Quality Control Executive (Night Shift)
Location: 6 Fishery Port Road, #01-01, Singapore 619747 (Jurong)
Night shift（9pm-6am）, 6 days a week, 1 day off | Salary: SGD 3,200 - 4,800/month
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming fruits and vegetables for freshness, size, ripeness, visual quality and temperature; handle rejections and returns
- Check chiller and ambient storage for spoilage; enforce FIFO/FEFO and stop non-conforming products from dispatch
- Supervise picking and packing; spot-check outbound orders for quality, specs and quantity
- Investigate quality incidents and customer complaints; follow up on returns, replacements and supplier claims
- Join supplier audits and share inbound quality data with suppliers
- Develop receiving standards, grading criteria and QC SOPs; train warehouse staff
- Track quality metrics (acceptance rate, wastage, complaints) and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with SFA requirements and the food safety management system
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Biology, Agriculture or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in fresh produce receiving or quality control
- Good knowledge of fruit and vegetable quality, seasonality and storage
- Familiar with HACCP / ISO 22000; able to write SOPs independently
- Proficient in Excel; good written and spoken English; Mandarin is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, responsible, good communicator
- Able to work night shifts in chiller and warehouse environments
