Front-of-House Supervisor | Nozomi
Nozomi is a modern Japanese dining concept rooted in kaiseki principles, where quality, seasonality and thoughtful presentation meet in every dish. Our refined yet approachable menu features bentos, donburi, sushi, sashimi and seasonal specials. Our team is built on respect, sincerity and attention to detail.
We’re looking for a committed FOH Supervisor to help deliver a dining experience that is refined, grounded and quietly memorable.
What You’ll Do
Operations
- Assist the Outlet Manager (OM) with inventory, planning and resource allocation
- Support consistent SOPs and help hit sales, service and operational targets
- Record daily sales and menu item performance
- Work with the kitchen on feedback and improvements
- Run pre-service walkthroughs for readiness, cleanliness and ambience
- Keep equipment maintained, report faults and support other outlets when needed
Service & Guest Experience
- Lead the team in upholding Nozomi’s service and beverage standards
- Confidently explain dishes, ingredients, preparation and sake
- Be hands-on during service, especially at peak hours
- Ensure smooth food and drink delivery and handle feedback with care
Health & Safety
- Uphold hygiene, housekeeping and safe equipment handling
Who We’re Looking For
- Prior F&B supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised, dependable and proactive on the floor
- Hands-on leader with attention to detail and a team-first mindset
- Passionate about Japanese cuisine and hospitality
The Offer
- Salary: $2,800 - $3,400/month
- Full-time, Permanent. Fresh graduates welcome
- 5-day work week, day shifts between 10:30am - 9:30/10:00pm
