SERVICE CREW (Food Hygiene Certificate Required) | $14/HR | HOTEL BAR | SOMERSET / ORCHARD AREA | BISTRO & BAR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED | CASUAL LABOUR
Location: Orchard/ Somerset
Rate: $14/hour
Work Shift: Daily shift - 8am-1pm/ 3pm-8pm/ 6pm-11pm
We are looking for Service Crew with bistro or bar service experience with a valid Food Hygiene Certificate to join a fast-paced restaurant and bar operation. The ideal candidate is confident in food and beverage service and customer interaction, and is comfortable working in a lively, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take and serve food and beverage orders, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where applicable.
Provide efficient table and floor service during busy periods.
Set up, clear and reset tables according to service standards.
Assist customers with menu and beverage enquiries.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining, service and bar areas.
Work closely with the kitchen, bartender and service team to ensure smooth operations.
Support high-volume service during peak periods and events.
Handle customer requests professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor when required.
Perform other duties related to restaurant and bar operations as assigned.
Requirements
Prior bistro, bar, restaurant, pub or F&B service experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in bar service and beverage operations is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and bar environment.
Energetic, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification is an advantage
