Factory Supervisor
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Factory Manager to oversee daily production activities, coordinate factory workers, and ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor production schedules and work progress.
- Supervise production workers and coordinate daily manpower allocation.
- Provide technical support for carpentry, joinery, and fabrication work.
- Coordinate material procurement and monitor stock and delivery schedules.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and manage drawing revisions.
- Ensure product quality, minimise material wastage, and resolve production issues.
- Maintain factory housekeeping, workplace safety, and WSH compliance.
- Prepare production reports and support improvements in factory efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in factory operations, production, carpentry, or joinery.
- Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of carpentry, joinery, materials, hardware, and fabrication processes.
- Experience in production coordination or team supervision is an advantage.
- Able to read shop drawings and coordinate effectively with workers and suppliers.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
