Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to join our Food & Beverage team in Singapore. You will support chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth daily operations. Job Description
- Assist with washing, peeling, cutting and preparing ingredients according to chefs' instructions and recipes.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene by cleaning workstations, equipment, utensils and storage areas in line with NEA food safety regulations.
- Receive, sort and store deliveries properly, following stock rotation practices (FIFO) and reporting shortages or damaged items.
- Support the kitchen team during service by transporting items, organising supplies and helping to reduce food waste.
Job Requirements
- Willingness to learn, with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a diverse, fast-paced team.
- Previous kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices; a Basic Food Hygiene certificate is preferred or can be obtained after joining.
- Able to stand for extended periods and carry out routine kitchen tasks, with reasonable adjustments considered where appropriate. Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as the business requires.
