Join Our Team as a Night Watch Personnel!
Are you a night owl who stays sharp when the city sleeps? Join our team and help keep the venue safe and in good order through the night!
You’ll be the eyes and ears of the premises after hours: closing up the site after events, doing regular walkabouts, managing after-hours entry, and responding to any incidents onsite. You’ll also make sure the day team gets a smooth handover each morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Do closing checks to make sure all doors, gates and restricted areas are properly locked after event hours
- Do regular walkabouts throughout the night, covering public areas, storage zones and the perimeter
- Manage after-hours entry for contractors, cleaners and vendors, checking their identity and authorisation
- Respond to any incidents onsite
- Keep accurate logs of walkabouts, entries and incidents throughout the shift
- Give a clear handover report to the day team and escalate urgent matters to the supervisor on call
Requirements
- Comfortable working overnight, including weekends and public holidays
- Alert, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Calm and level-headed when handling unexpected situations
- Physically fit to walk around and stand for long hours
- Min. 1 year of experience in a similar role (night shift experience is a plus)
