**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic food & beverage team on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen environment whilst supporting our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to our team's success.
**Job Description**
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Support stock management by receiving deliveries, organising storage areas, and rotating inventory according to food safety guidelines
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations whilst working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
**Job Requirements**
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidates
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15kg
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Food hygiene certification (e.g., WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1) is advantageous but not mandatory
