Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of the prime mover vehicle before departing for collection or delivery assignments
Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and report any defects, damages or maintenance issues promptly
Transport containers, cargo and goods safely and efficiently according to assigned schedules
Review delivery orders and transport documents before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure all delivery documentation, paperwork and payment collections are completed accurately and submitted on time
Adhere to assigned routes, delivery schedules and operational instructions
Assist with loading and unloading activities when required
Ensure cargo and containers are secured properly during transportation
Comply with all traffic regulations, transportation laws and company driving policies
Maintain a safe driving record and operate vehicles responsibly at all times
Maintain regular communication with route dispatchers and operations personnel
Update the Traffic Management System (TMS) and other operational systems as required
Perform basic vehicle care and ensure cleanliness of assigned vehicles
Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections and maintenance activities when requires
Maintain and care for delivery-related Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Wear and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for performance tracking and incentive purposes
Report incidents, accidents, delays or operational issues promptly to Management
Perform any other duties assigned by Superior
Requirements
Minimum secondary education or equivalent qualification
Minimum secondary education or equivalent qualification
Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence
Preferably 2–3 years of relevant prime mover, trailer or heavy vehicle driving experience
Experience in container transportation, po
