Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will serve as the Head or Deputy Head of Nursing at an assigned nursing home. You will oversee daily operations and improve clinical nursing services to ensure safe, high-quality, efficient and cost-effective care for residents and their families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Nursing Operations:
- Oversee daily nursing home operations and quality resident care.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff across all levels.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations and family communications.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, adequate staffing and appropriate skill mix.
- Support budget planning and resource utilisation.
Clinical Standards:
- Ensure compliance with MOH and SNB standards.
- Lead quality assurance and promote evidence-based nursing practices.
- Maintain updated clinical policies and procedures.
- Oversee resident care and facilitate smooth care transitions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with residents, families, MOH, AIC and other stakeholders.
- Work with the Operations Manager to maintain safe facilities and equipment.
People Development:
- Identify training needs and support staff competency development.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop nursing training programmes.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6–8 years of leadership experience in healthcare.
- Recognised Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid RN licence with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Less experienced candidates may be considered for the Assistant Nurse Manager position.
