Finance Executive, Tax (Up to $3500)

The Opportunity
- Work with one of the world's top universities!
- Duration: 6 months(Able to convert/renew subjected to performance)
- Location: Central (one-north)
- Mon-Fri, office hours
Job Scope
- Assist with day-to-day finance operational activities as required.
- Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related tasks.
- Review and file monthly withholding tax (WHT) returns, ensuring timely submission and proper approval of related journal entries.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of withholding tax filings and payments.
- Respond to routine withholding tax queries from internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and post GST-related journal entries.
- Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
- Generate reports and prepare supporting schedules for quarterly GST filings.
- Coordinate and collate information relating to property tax matters.
- Support tax-related projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc assignments.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting, or tax functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of GST, withholding tax, and/or property tax is preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
