Working Hours
- 6 days work week
- Full Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (2-hour break)
- Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (1-hour break)
- Rest days according to roster
- Working hours subject to final confirmation
Job Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Wash, cut, portion and prepare vegetables, meat and seafood.
- Carry out mise en place and prepare ingredients before service.
- Replenish ingredients and supplies during busy periods.
- Assist with basic cooking and food plating when required.
- Receive, store and organise ingredients properly.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and follow stock-rotation procedures.
- Clean kitchen workstations, utensils and equipment.
- Support kitchen opening and closing duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen operating procedures.
- Assist other kitchen sections when required.
Job Requirements
- Kitchen or F&B experience preferred.
- Chinese restaurant kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Basic knife and ingredient-preparation skills preferred.
- No kitchen experience may be considered for night-shift vacancies.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Good personal hygiene, reliable and a team player.
