Therapy Assistant (BH: 704145)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, medical social workers, and speech therapists.
- Assist with administrative tasks to facilitate seamless operation of healthcare services.
- Provide patient-facing support to enhance the therapeutic process.
- Manage and maintain equipment to ensure readiness for treatment.
- Contribute to an environment that prioritizes patient care and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Certification in Rehabilitation Therapy, Work Study Diploma in Rehabilitation Care, WSQ Care Assistance, or other relevant healthcare or social care certifications is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, caregivers, and family members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate demeanor and sensitivity to the feelings of others.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or community care setting is advantageous.
