Hiring Class 4 Driver | 24-Foot Tailgate Truck
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: $2,000 per month
- Night shift allowance: $300 per month
- Attendance bonus: $200 per month, subject to company attendance policy
- Delivery allowance: payable according to company scheme
- Estimated gross monthly earnings: $3,800-$4,000+, depending on delivery allowance and eligibility for allowances/bonuses
Working Hours
- 6 working days per week
- Monthly rest days: 4 days
Job Responsibilities
- Drive a 24-foot tailgate truck for supermarket deliveries islandwide
- Collect goods from the warehouse
- Complete approximately 3 collections per night
- Deliver each collection to approximately 1 to 3 supermarket outlets
- Routes are generally arranged by geographical zone or along the same direction
- Load and unload goods, pallets and roller cages
- Return empty pallets, empty roller cages and signed delivery documents to the warehouse after each completed collection
- No attendant provided; driver is responsible for driving, loading and unloading duties
- A break of approximately 2–3 hours may be available between collection and delivery schedules, depending on the daily route and operational requirements
Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence
- Relevant experience with logistics or delivery companies preferred
- Able to drive a 24-foot tailgate truck safely and responsibly
- Comfortable with night-shift work, loading and unloading duties
- Physically fit and willing to handle goods, pallets and roller cages
- Responsible, punctual and able to follow delivery schedules and company instructions
- Willing to work islandwide and follow operational arrangements
