The Services required are set out as follows:
- 1. To prepare, portion and distribute food ingredients before the commencement of practical lessons daily.
- 2. To assist with weekly food ingredient orders and receive deliveries from vendors.
- 3. To check and verify that all food ingredients delivered are accurate in quantity, quality and specifications, in accordance with the orders placed.
- 4. To ensure that all food ingredients are properly labelled, stored and maintained in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards, including appropriate storage temperatures and stock rotation.
- 5. To conduct regular inventory checks of food ingredients, utensils, equipment and other supplies in the NFS Special Rooms, including the Kitchens, NFS Office and NFS Investigation Hub.
- 6. To inspect and maintain the cleanliness, condition and functionality of kitchen utensils, appliances and cooking equipment, and promptly report any defects or damage to the teacher-in-charge.
- 7. To ensure the general upkeep, cleanliness, hygiene and safety of the NFS Special Rooms, including kitchen workstations, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
- 8. To perform basic administrative and office duties to support teachers in the preparation and conduct of teaching and learning activities in the Kitchens and NFS Investigation Hub.
To carry out general cleaning of the Kitchens and NFS Investigation Hub every Friday, as well as thorough cleaning during the June and September school holidays, as assigned by the HOD-in-charge
