Working hours:
- 6 days work week (fixed off day)
- 8am - 8pm
Job Scope:
- Sorting & Inspecting: Check and sort laundry by color, fabric type, or level of soil, and look out for damage or personal items.
- Machine Operation: Load and operate commercial or industrial washing, drying, ironing, and folding equipment.
- Finishing & Packing: Iron, fold, hang, and pack clean items into designated carrier bags or transport trolleys.
- Maintenance & Hygiene: Keep the work area clean, follow safety protocols, and manage basic linen inventory
Job Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: High physical stamina is required. The role involves ***standing for long periods***, lifting heavy laundry bags (up to 15–20kg), and bending or stretching to load machines.
- Environment: Capability to work comfortably in environments that can be ***hot, humid, and loud*** due to heavy machinery and steam irons.
- Working Hours: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as many commercial and hospitality laundries operate on a 24/7 or extended schedule.
