Job Summary
The Junior Trainer will support the Training Team by primarily focusing on hands-on training and implementation of bread-making and baking operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at the store level, ensuring staff proficiency and adherence to Paris Baguette's product quality and operational standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery & Support (Bread Operations Focus)
- Assist in conducting comprehensive, hands-on training sessions for store staff, focusing specifically on bread production, baking techniques, dough handling, equipment operation, and bread product presentation.
- Provide practical, in-person training at store locations to ensure staff are proficient in bread operational procedures and consistently meet company quality and efficiency standards.
- Help assess the immediate effectiveness of baking training on the floor and report feedback to the Trainer.
- Provide on-the-ground support during new store launches, specifically in the baking and bread prep areas, ensuring staff are trained and ready for opening.
2. Operational Standardization & SOP
- Implement and enforce bakery SOPs at new and existing stores to ensure smooth transitions and consistent product quality.
- Ensure compliance with recipes, processes, and hygiene standards.
3. Quality, Hygiene, and Safety Audits
- Conduct bakery audits to ensure SOP and food safety compliance.
- Monitor hygiene, food handling, and storage practices.
- Support audit reporting and corrective actions
4. Ongoing Coaching and Development
- Coach staff on bread-making techniques and operational best practices.
- Provide ongoing training support and resolve operational issues
Min. Nitec/Diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts, or any related field.
At least 2-3 years of practical experience in bread production, baking, or a related food and beverage (F&B) operations role, preferably in a centralized kitchen or store environment.
