Care Associate
We are looking for compassionate, service-oriented, and proactive Care Associates to support the daily operations of our Senior Assisted Living facility. If you enjoy interacting with seniors and are passionate about creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception counter and attend to residents, visitors, contractors, and service providers.
- Handle enquiries, telephone calls, visitor registration, mail, parcels, and deliveries.
- Monitor the resident panic button/call bell system and respond promptly to emergencies, escalating cases to the Duty Manager, Nurse, or emergency services where required.
- Record emergency activations and report any system faults.
- Conduct routine safety and security rounds and monitor residents' well-being.
- Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, and vendor visits, ensuring common areas remain clean and organised.
- Assist with resident appointments, transport arrangements, admissions, orientation, and settling-in.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including visitor logs, incident reports, and shift handovers.
- Support audits, inspections, and other operational or administrative duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Passionate about caring for and serving seniors.
- Minimum Secondary School education.
- Experience in caregiving, customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsible, patient and able to remain calm during emergencies.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willing to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
