Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Western dishes in accordance with the set menu and standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality control of all dishes served.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen according to NEA and company standards.
- Assist in inventory control and stock rotation of ingredients and supplies.
- Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures strictly as required under Singapore regulations.
- Handle cashiering duties, including taking orders, processing payments and checking that transactions are recorded accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cooking Western cuisine (e.g. pasta, grilled items, sandwiches, etc.).
- Possess a valid WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (as required under NEA regulations).
- Able to handle kitchen operations independently or under supervision.
- Must be able to read and write simple English.
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays as rostered.
- Team player with a positive working attitude and good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
