Looking for a hands-on job with good benefits and career growth opportunities? Join our Central Kitchen team! No extensive experience needed – training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and prepare raw ingredients.
- Assist with marination, cooking and food processing.
- Operate food production machinery (training provided).
- Perform food portioning, blast freezing, vacuum packing and labelling.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
- Follow food safety, halal and workplace safety standards.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Kitchen or food production experience preferred (training provided).
- Comfortable handling raw meat and operating machinery.
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads.
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in chilled or heated environments.
- Responsible, hardworking and a good team player.
- Willing to work assigned shifts, including evenings where required.
- WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 preferred (training can be arranged).
