JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis for production fallouts.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of machine/equipment/tool/jig
- Validates & maintains test equipment in good condition by performing periodic preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Assist Test Engineer on test equipment and set-up for NPI (New Project Introduction)
- Ensure compliance to the quality standards, company guidelines & procedures are adhered to whilst providing necessary support to production.
- Compile Test Yield Report.
- Constantly looking into better test efficiencies to improve the test yield.
- Perform rework and repair of printed circuit board assemblies (through hole and SMT parts) according to IPC standards.
- Feedback unusual high fallout to Test Engineer.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the company.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Nitec
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred
- Hands-on experience operating equipment such as de-soldering tools, hot air blowers, SRT machines, soldering irons, and related equipment
