Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawings and parts lists to accurately identify required components for machine repairs and maintenance.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding spare parts availability, specifications, and pricing.
- Prepare and issue quotations based on customer requirements and technical documentation.
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and quantities.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to arrange timely shipments and monitor delivery schedules.
- Generate necessary shipping documents, including invoices, delivery orders, and case markings.
- Request quotations from suppliers and process purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and participate in periodic stock-taking activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless daily operations and customer satisfaction.
- Perform administrative duties and assist in other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and parts lists.
- Preferably with relevant experience in a Parts Centre or similar environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
