Airport Laundry Attendant — Job Responsibilities 👇
📌 Job Title: Airport Laundry Attendant
✨ Main Responsibilities:
- Collect & Sort — Gather dirty items such as aircraft/airline linens, crew uniforms, towels, and tablecloths; sort by fabric type, colour, and soil level
- Inspect & Report — Check items for damage, stains, tears, or missing buttons before and after washing; record and report issues to supervisor
- Wash & Dry — Operate industrial washing machines and dryers safely; select correct programmes and temperatures for different items
- Spot Clean — Pre-treat and remove stubborn stains using proper cleaning agents
- Iron & Press — Press and iron uniforms, linens, and garments to meet crisp, professional standards
- Fold & Deliver — Fold and stack clean items neatly; count and arrange for delivery to aircraft, lounges, crew areas, and offices on time
- Record & Track — Keep accurate records of items received, processed, and dispatched; log any lost or damaged articles
- Maintain & Clean — Keep work area, machines, and equipment clean and tidy; report any machine faults or safety hazards
- Safety First — Handle detergents and chemicals safely; follow all airport health, hygiene, and security rules
