Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) | Tunnel / Infrastructure Project | Night Shift
Our client, an established M&E engineering contractor, is looking for an experienced Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to support a tunnel / infrastructure project in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with WSH requirements
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective / preventive actions
- Maintain WSH reports, records and safety documentation
- Coordinate with Project Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers
- Support implementation of project WSH procedures and safety initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant Workplace Safety & Health qualification
- Relevant WSH experience in construction / engineering projects
- MOM-registered WSHO preferred
- Experience in tunnel, underground, infrastructure, M&E or major construction projects is an advantage
- Candidates with career progression from WSH Supervisor → WSH Coordinator → WSH Officer are highly relevant
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation and site safety
- Able to work independently
- Must be comfortable with night shift and a 6-day work week
