Warehouse Assistant
Job Description:
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify items against delivery documents.
- Handle storage, stock arrangement and preparation of goods for dispatch.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Assist with gold and silver authenticity testing and cash handling.
- Pick, pack and double-check online orders before shipment.
- Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are properly presented.
- Handle high-value products with care and follow security procedures.
- Identify discrepancies, report operational issues and suggest process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong checking and counting skills.
- Good observation skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Honest, trustworthy and responsible when handling high-value products and cash.
- Proactive, practical and willing to learn.
- Warehouse, inventory or retail operations experience is an advantage.
- Prior experience in precious metals is not required but would be beneficial.
