Site Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings and schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, suppliers and project team members.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of works.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress reports and other relevant documentation.
- Liaise with consultants, clients and relevant authorities on site matters.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and coordinating construction activities.
- Identify and resolve site issues and technical problems promptly.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Experience in road works, drainage, sewerage, earthworks or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Able to work independently and manage site activities effectively.
- Responsible, organised and possess a good working attitude.
- Willing to work on site and undertake other duties as assigned.
