MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Conduct inspections and testing of incoming materials to ensure compliance with specified quality requirements.
- Perform calibration and verification of measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
KEY TASK:
- Inspect and test incoming materials according to specifications.
- Calibrate measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report product/material quality issues.
- Complete incoming material inspection records and issue “PASS” labels for approved materials.
- Verify material quantities against PCC and supporting documents.
- Record the quality status of materials in the Daily Production Status Sheet.
- Recommend corrective actions or solutions for non-conforming products/materials.
OTHER TASK:
- Investigate product non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective actions or solutions.
- Prepare and submit monthly quality reports.
- Maintain the laboratory and office in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
- Support production and relevant departments in resolving quality-related issues.
- Be a member of factory meeting.
- Be an ISO Internal Auditor.
COMPETENCY LEVEL:
- Nitec / or Diploma in Chemical Process with at least 1 year experience in chemical engineering.
- Knowledge of QC inspection and testing procedures.
- Ability to use and calibrate measuring/testing equipment.
- Understanding of quality standards, specifications, and non-conformance procedures.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to identify defects and investigate quality problems.
- Basic reporting and computer skills.
- Good communication with production, warehouse, and engineering teams.
