Job Description:

We are looking for Part-Time Kitchen Assistants to support our catering kitchen operations, especially during the upcoming festive period.

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and other food ingredients.
  • Portion and pack sauces into packaging. 
  • Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
  • Assist with packing and organising food items for catering orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas.
  • Perform other ad-hoc kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a kitchen, food preparation or catering environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation is an advantage.
  • Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Arrangement

  • Part-time position.
  • Flexible shifts depending on operational requirements.
  • Short-term and festive-period commitments are welcome.
  • Opportunity for additional shifts depending on business needs.
