Production Executive
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive, quick-witted, and highly responsible Production Executive to act as a key liaison across departments and ensure smooth factory operations. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, solve daily operational challenges, and maintain a high standard of integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Planning: Execute effective production planning, manage manpower control, forecast material/stock buildup, and ensure strict adherence to food hygiene and cleaning practices.
- Inventory & NAVision System: Create production orders, perform system inputs/outputs, handle product reclassifications/adjustments, and maintain accurate inventory records (including monthly stock-takes) in Microsoft Dynamics NAVision.
- Operations HR: Manage manpower rostering, administer the e-leave system, track attendance, update organizational charts, and coordinate with HR for recruitment (interviews, onboarding, and offboarding).
- Procurement & Admin: Monitor production and office supplies, negotiate with vendors for ad-hoc projects/services, handle petty cash, take meeting minutes, and assist with monthly reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a Production Administration, Operations, or Supervisor role within the Food Manufacturing/Processing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for statistical collation). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAVision is a strong advantage.
- HR Knowledge: Practical experience in manpower scheduling/rostering and a basic understanding of HR policies (e.g., overtime calculation).
- Attributes: Strong multi-tasking abilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset toward continuous process improvement.
