Job Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service by accurately taking orders, serving guests promptly, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests
- Support restaurant operations by assisting with outlet setup, table preparation, and ensuring all equipment, amenities, and service ware are adequately stocked, maintained, and ready prior to service.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond to enquiries efficiently, and provide informed menu recommendations through appropriate suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
- Maintain a strong understanding of menu offerings, promotions, ingredients, and preparation methods to effectively assist guests.
- Manage restaurant reservations and guest enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform administrative and operational duties as assigned to support the smooth running of the restaurant.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure service excellence and guest satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Minimum Secondary school education with ‘O’ Level passes; Diploma in any field is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 1 year in a guest service / guest contact roles, preferably in a hospitality organization
Other Prerequisites
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification
- Willing and able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Possess a well-groomed, professional appearance
