IT SUPPORT ENGINEER – LEVEL 1 | JUNIOR ROLE
Turn your IT knowledge into hands-on experience solving everyday technology problems. Build your troubleshooting skills across devices, Microsoft 365 and connectivity while helping users stay productive.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Provide first-line support for laptops, desktops, printers and common software issues
• Assist with Windows/macOS, Outlook, Teams and Microsoft 365 user enquiries
• Support account access, password resets and MFA issues following procedures
• Troubleshoot basic Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN and shared-drive access issues
• Assist with device setup, software installation and IT asset records
• Document troubleshooting steps and escalate complex issues to Level 2 engineers
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Basic knowledge of IT systems OR infrastructure is essential
• Relevant foundations may include user accounts, access permissions, servers, IP addressing, DNS or DHCP
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 and basic device/network troubleshooting
• Diploma or equivalent in IT/Computer Science, or relevant experience
• Suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of IT support experience; internships and part-time support experience count
• Clear communication, a helpful attitude and willingness to follow procedures
Fresh graduates with relevant practical projects or internship exposure are welcome. Be ready to share an example of a system or infrastructure task you have worked on.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Deployment may involve onsite or remote support, depending on customer requirements. After-office support may be required on a roster.
